What a PlaCe is this?

New knowledge derived from basic research within plant science may help to alleviate many of the problems the world community is facing with respect to global food security, food quality, lifestyle disorders, climate changes and protection of our environment. Center for Molecular Plant Physiology (PlaCe) wants to contribute to the acquirement of this knowledge by carrying out research and training at the level of scientific excellence within molecular and whole-plant physiology.

We study central biological themes manifested at the whole-plant level using combined approaches from chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, physiology and genetics and take advantage of the new powerful tools provided by systems oriented biology and bioimaging in our work.

PlaCe is situated in the center of Copenhagen and is ..... The PlaCe to understand Plant Biology
